Farhad Hussain

Farhad Hussain’s paintings are narratives with each figure having a role in his story. He bases his works on the realities of human relationships and their subtle complexities albeit with a touch of humour and sarcasm. His compositions highlight middle class urban India which are usually set in a familiar living room or a neighbourhood park where he uses vibrant colours and bright flat backdrops with details of minute textile patterning.
